The Role of The Heritage Tourism in The Development of The Algerian Economy

Abstract

This study aims at highlighting the factors of activating economic development through heritage tourism in Algeria in both its physical and archaeological sites by looking for the most effective ways to attract the largest number of tourists to visit these historical sites using guides specialized in heritage and translators to foreign languages, and provide means Leisure, recreation and recreation of visitors according to the customs and traditions of each country, while the intangible heritage of folklore, which reflects the authentic culture of the people, can also be one of the tributaries of tourism in Algeria, through the establishment of international folk festivals 

The participants are the Algerian traditional arts and therefore it is worthwhile to preserve this heritage because it connects the present with the past and is an important source of economic development in Algeria. It also dealt with the elements of heritage tourism in Algeria, linking tourism and the environment in terms of climate, beaches and forests, tourism and history in terms of visiting archaeological and heritage sites, and tourism and folklore in terms of the process ,The past of poetry, arts, customs and traditions of the Algerian people, and between tourism and the reality of Algeria in terms of the extent of tourism culture among the Algerians and the cultural and material barriers of the Algerian people towards foreign tourism, and finally ended the research concluded by summarizing the most important results that lead to understanding the reality of tourism and to A true tourist culture that contributes to the development economy of Algeria.
