Civil Society Organizations and Their Legal Framework in Iraq

Abstract

This research examines civil society organizations and their legal framework in Iraq. It includes an introduction and two main sections. The first section defines civil society organizations and is further divided into two subsections: the first subsection provides a definition of civil society organizations, covering their jurisprudential and legislative definitions and their various types; the second subsection addresses the establishment of civil society organizations, outlining the responsible authority and the establishment procedures. The second section discusses the specific legal framework governing civil society organizations and is also divided into two subsections: the first subsection addresses the rights and obligations of civil society organizations, and the second addresses judicial and administrative oversight of civil society organizations. The research concludes with a summary of the findings and recommendations.
